10 Many people find that paladins aren't the best Off tanks

Running straight into 10 mobs, I put up seal of (WoW Gold)righteousness, which does a set amount of holy dmg per melee attack you hit the mob with. So basically if you're melee weapon hits for 100 on average without seal of righteousness up, you can count on the actual melee damage of 100 and then add on another chunk of holy damage which is great for (a) taking down the mob and (b) keeping threat with righteous fury =D As well as this, if you judge any mob with SoR up, it's like a chunk of holy damage in their face which is great for holding threat after that pesky mage pyroblasts. Saves your Righteous Defense (aka taunt) for a more dire situation.

After I had gotten close to them I threw down a consecration. More holy damage. More threat. It's like a sunder on each and every mob with the click of a button, I <3 it. Then I proceeded to pull them all into a tunnel while keeping them all in front of me, threw up holy shield, judgement of righteousness and seal of righteousness non stop to hold(WoW Gold) threat, and cowered behind my shield with holy shield up. ONE single mob broke off to go after my healer during that fight and that was easily solved by taunting him back from range and smashing him in the face with a judgement of righteousness. Consecration, holy shield, BoS, Retribution aura. Before we knew it, half the mobs were half dead and the others were already smoking pieces of holy wrath.

So simply put, a paladin in the SHORT-RUN, considering we tank with mana, not endless rage, are amazing at holding aggro on large groups of mobs. When we run out of mana we become about as useful as poopy flavoured lollipops. We cause great threat, we have decent mitigation, we have heals for backing up the party, shields, aoe taunts from range. We have decent HP pools, perhaps not quite as impressive as a druids (HOLY CRAP?!1oneone) or warriors, who don't have to worry about intellect, or spell damage on their gear. A pally tank when played properly is as good if not better than an average warrior but as I have both a prot warrior AND a prot paladin, I would have to say that there are situations where they both shine.

Many people find (WoW Gold)that paladins aren't the best Off-tanks. I must say I agree based on the information given. First of all, a paladin's mana is finite unlike a warrior's never ending rage. Which means we may not always have time to offtank a mob until the main boss is down. On top of this, at lvl 70 a paladin recieves 10% mana from all heals he or she takes unless they are at 100%. I have been led to believe that often, the off tank target doesn't do as much damage as the main tank one, and therefore the paladin requires less healing, aka gets less mana back.
