In short what i meant about choosing (WoW Gold)block over complete avoidance is that it allows for more stamina on gear due to it costing less itemization points. no-one will disagree 1% block being worse than 1% dodge.
I'll not go into the other things i feel you've perhaps not taken exactly as i meant them seeing (Cheap WoW Gold)as it'll make little difference and i am in fact notoriously lazy on sundays =p
the only thing i can't agree on you with is that the extra threat generated compared to a warrior is of little use.
I've raided and am raiding as a hunter atm, and speaking from my own and from experience of others i've asked, an equally geared shadowpriest (for example) WILL overagro an equally geared prot warrior when going full burn.
You may note the priest can choose to not use one of his embrace spells, but ive heard mages locks etc agree as well in respect to their class.
As for questioning the skill/experience of my sources: ive asked several members of Bad Omen, Whom most recently downed Gurtogg Bloodboil and Rage Winterchill.
It may be interesting to note though that they do not use any tankadins anywhere.
Judging by what you´ve said here i´ve decided to put my tankadin on a little holiday untill blizz buffs them properly and have switched to my hunter for the time being.
Being able to tank 1 or 2 gimmick encounters and the occasional trash is not exactly the grand career i had in mind for all the work i put in.
Also in a lot of (Cheap WoW Gold)scenarios, an Arms warrior or a Feral druid can provide more overall utility than a paladin offtanking. I feel I offer my best to the raid when I'm actively doing things to help them. And that means more than judging a beneficial judgment and keeping it up, whilst eating my mana pool away with lesser aggro, no mitigation and inferior healing that rarely saves the day. The most of my utility comes from my specialization and gear, and that aims to supply an active tank. Not a backup or a situational one, that has a lot of things to offer whilst not actively tanking.
